Albert Bell, 58, of Holly Hill, died Saturday after a brief illness. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Greater Unity AME Raysor T. Adams Raysor T. Adams, of 883 Church in Holly Hill, with the Rev.

A.J. Blake officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be William Smalls, Dennis White, Johnny Snell, Benjamin Wright, Jill Williams, Larry Tyler and Albert Mallard. Mr.

Bell was born in Holly Hill, a son of the late Lawton Bell and Elouise Lambright Bell. He was a member of the Greater Unity AME Church and an employee of the former Holly Hill Lumber Co. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lula Little Bell of the home; five sons, Norton Bell, Albert Bell Jr. and Franklin Bell, all of Columbia, Sammie Lee Bell and Thomas Bell, both of Holly Hill; six daughters Mrs.

Elouise Williamson of Columbia, Miss Ada Bell and Miss Mini Bell, both of Dorchester, Miss Annie Bell of Forrestville, Mrs. Mattie Lee Bailey of Orangeburg and Miss Sandy Albertha Bell of Holly Hill; five brothers, William Bell, Leroy Bell, Wilmon Bell, all of Holly Hill, Isaac Bell of Dorchester, and Jacob Bell of Greensboro, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Hermese Dailey of Dorchester, and five grandchildren. Lily Breeland HOLLY HILLL, S.C. Mrs. Lilly H. Bennett Breeland of Holly Hill died Wednesday morning at Orangeburg Regional Hospital in Orangeburg. The funeral will be 4 p.m.

Thursday at Holly Hill United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Albert Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Marion Harrison, Walt Harrison, Kenny Harrison, Franklin Query, Tom Berry and James W. Hutto Jr.

Mrs. Breeland was born in Hampton County, a daughter of the late Walter P. and Rachel Langford Harrison. She was a member of Holly Hill United Methodist Church, a graduate of Bakers Hospital School of Nursing in Charleston and a retired registered nurse. She was the widow of Dr.

S.W. Breeland. Her first marriage was to the late Robert A. Bennett. Survivors include four brothers, Gary Harrison Sr.

and Kenneth Harrison, both of Brunson, Dr. Elliot F. Harrison of Venice, and Woodrow Harrison of Olar; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Corbin Jr. of Brunson and Mrs.

John Ward of Raleigh, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Holly Hill United Methodist Church. Friends may call at Avinger Funeral Home and the Bryan Hutto home on Eutaw Road in Holly Hill. Mrs. Martha Hightower The funeral for Mrs.

Martha Cavender Hightower, 76, of 1224 Nelson NE, Orangeburg, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carlos O. Gardner officiating.

Burial will be 2:30 p.m. in Denmark Cemetery. Mrs. Hightower died Tuesday. Pallbearers will be members of the Experienced Persons Group of St.

Andrews United Methodist Church. Friends may call at the residence and at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. Freddie Hampton Jr. PHILADELPHIA Freddie Hampton 49, died Wednesday at Women's Medical College of Philadelphia following a brief illness. The funeral will be 2 p.m.

Thursday at Andrew Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Leroy Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Hampton was born in Orangeburg County, a son of Mrs.

Lizzie Mae Hampton and the late Freddie Hampton Sr. He was a member of Bull Swamp Church early in life, and attended the Orangeburg County public schools. In 1968, he moved to Philadelphia. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Margaret Ann Hampton of the home; two sons, Tony Hampton and Brian Hampton of the home; his mother of Philadelphia; his grandmother, Mrs.

Birdie Riley McDonald of Orangeburg; five brothers, Leroy Hampton, Albert Hampton, Robert Hampton and Bernard Hampton, all of Philadelphia, and Grady Hampton of Orangeburg; three sisters, Rosa Thomas, Daisy Reid' and Vernell Tisdall, all of Philadelphia. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Powell, 78, of Hunt Club Road in Columbia, died Sunday. She was born in Vance, a daughter of the late Fannie Jenkins. She was a member of Live Oak AME Church and later became a member of Mother Zion AME Church in New York City.

Reeves CORDOVA, S.C. The funeral for Furman Arthur Reeves, 65, of Route 1, Box 4408, Cordova, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Cannon Bridge Road Church of God, with the Rev. Clifton Whitman and the Rev. Marion Shaw officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Ceme- tery. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the services. Mr. Reeves died Monday. Friends may call at the residence on Cannon Bridge Road and Thompson Funeral Home.

Wilbur L. Sweatman BRANCHVILLE, S.C. The funeral for Wilbur L. "W.L." Sweatman, 74, of the Cattle Creek community, will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill.

The Rev. Dr. Tom Pratt will officiate. Burial will be in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be J.W.

Summers, Frank Hecht, Julian Hart, Jimmy Sweatman, O.D. Pritcher and H.O. Sweatman. Mr. Sweatman died Tuesday.

He was born in Holly Hill, a son of the late Stoll A. and Alice Stoudemire Sweatman. Randy Creal, the former Orangeburg County deputy sheriff who was injured Tuesday morning in a one-car accident, was reported in stable condition Wednesday. A spokesman at the Orangeburg Regional Hospital said Creal, of 2180 Dogwood was still in the intensive care unit but was stable following surgery Tuesday.

Creal was injured sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning when his 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass crossed Lake Edisto Road at the intersection of Shillings Bridge Road and struck a tree. A passer-by found the injured man later and called for help. Creal was taken into surgery twice Tuesday and a call was issued to the sheriff's department for blood donors.
