What drops the hive in Realm of the Mad God? ›

The Hive is a low to medium-level dungeon aimed at players level 10+. It is a source of Potions of Dexterity, Bottled Honey, and two untiered items, the Honey Scepter and the Orb of Sweet Demise. Entrances to The Hive are dropped from Warrior Bees at a guaranteed rate, and Wasp Queens (though not guaranteed).

How to find the Hive. Warrior Bees always drop a portal to the Hive, they are found in the Midlands. They are not to be confused with Wasp Queens. This enemy also drops portals to the Hive, but don't have a guaranteed chance to do so.

The Hive is a Hardmode launcher that is dropped by The Plaguebringer Goliath. When used, it fires a spread of four short-ranged plague missiles that explode on impact with tiles or enemies, each producing two homing bee projectiles.

The Warrior Bee is a mid level Quest Monster that is found in the Midlands plains and is a somewhat stronger version of the Wasp Queen. This enemy has a guaranteed chance to drop a portal to The Hive.

There should only be three nodes left, including the one that's in the door to the hive. Line them up, then throw the Leviathan axe. This should clear the whole platform.

Pets are allies which follow the player throughout the realm. They have no HP and do not absorb enemy projectiles, but they have abilities which benefit the player in battle, such as healing the player or attacking enemies. Pets do not disappear when a character dies. They will just return to your Pet Yard.

Entrances to the Spider Den have a chance of dropping from Orc Kings, Red Spiders, Shambling Sludges, Werelions, Desert Werewolves, and Swarms. This dungeon must be completed to earn 'Tunnel Rat', 'First Steps', 'Hero of the Nexus' and 'Realm of the Mad God' fame bonuses.

The Hive Mind is a Pre-Hardmode boss fought in The Corruption. It is summoned by killing a Hive Tumor or by using a Teratoma in the Corruption.

Heading east, they come across a wall patrolled by a few stray Hivelings. Either wall-jumping and hitting the wall with the Nail or simply firing a Vengeful Spirit/Shade Soul Spell destroys the hidden, breakable wall and grants the Knight access to the Hive.

Bees are especially attracted by beeswax so plenty of beeswax should be used to bait the hives. Using a fresh starter strip of beeswax on the top-bars of a movable comb hive will act as a swarm attractant. Certain types of materials are more attractive to bees than others.

What is the best weapon for the hive? ›

The Star Cannon is one of the best options for this fight due to its extremely high damage and piercing ability. The Molten Fury paired with Hellfire Arrows can deal high damage to the boss. The Pumpler and Aquashard Shotgun paired with Flash Rounds can deal great damage to the Hive Mind.

Realm of the Mad God pits every player against Oryx and his innumerable horde of monsters. Killing as many of his heroes as possible to summon the Mad God himself for a final battle is the main objective of the game.

Larger and fiercer than the worker variety of these giant insects, warrior bees are more aggressive and pack a deadlier poison than the generic workers, but also defend the hive at a great price, as once their poison is delivered by the huge stinger, the bee will soon die.

How to find the Nest. The Nest can be dropped by the Killer Bee Nest, an event boss which has a chance to spawn once per realm. This event sports 100,000 HP and 40 DEF, has protective nest colonies surrounding it and summons three deadly Beehemoths throughout the fight.

Uncommon eggs are dropped rarely by all bosses and Gods (or lesser gods). Rare and Legendary eggs can be dropped by higher difficulty dungeons (Snake Pit, Undead Lair, Abyss of Demons, etc.) at an extremely rare chance. Rare and Legendary eggs are regularly offered on the main menu.

After the wall opens, quickly throw your axe at the Twilight Stone behind it to destroy the nearby hives. Now use your blades to go back to the first area. From there, look up to destroy the three hive matters in front of you. Finally, use your blades again to return to the second area and destroy the last hives.

The Forest Maze drops from Forest Nymphs, Mages, Elf Wizards, Bunnies, and Sandsman Kings which can be found in the lowlands. Dwarf Kings and Drake Babies can also drop a portal and are found in the midlands.
