in Longview. He was a member of the North Shore Baptist Church and Concerned Citizens of Crestwood. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Annette Timmons Jackson Davis; one daughter, Teresa Ann Owens of Longview; four stepdaughters and his stepsons-in-law, JoAnne Jackson Jordan and Melvin of Lake Cherokee, Judy Gayle Jackson Wallace and David of Shreveport, Teri Sue Jackson of Bryan and Tammie Kaye Jackson Montgomery and Darren of Bossier City; two grandchildren, Forrest Lee Owens and Lindsey Anne Owens of Longview; five stepgrandchildren, Jason Wells of Shreveport, Matthew and Melissa Anne Jordan of Lake Cherokee and Sarah and Staci Smith of Bossier City; a stepson-in-law, Ricky Smith of Blanchard, two step-grandchildren, Olivia and Haden Montgomery of Bossier City; two brothers and sisters-inlaw, Bill and Shirley Davis of Longview and Homer and Glenda Davis of Hallsville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Georgia Lou and Clayton Battles of Henderson and Maudie and Ted Leach of Carthage; and several nieces and nephews. Survivors include Clarence Springs, special friend and companion; her children, Clyde Ray Frazier of Palestine and Lottie Marie Devore and Shirley Ann Guerrero, both of Longview; sister Rachael Whitfield of Kilgore; brother James Ray Washburn; sisters Jean Moores, Margaret Willis and Ruth Mix, all of Longview; sister Peggy Jo Martin of Houston; a sister-in-law, Lottie Mae Miller of Kilgore; two stepchildren, Helen Marie and Rube Allen; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Bennett was a former president of American War Mothers and a member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Tucker; and two sisters, Leva Killian and Minnie Luman. She is survived by three sons, Leonard E.

Bennett of Garnett, Robert Bennett Sr. of Joseph, and Vernon Bennett of Longview; three daughters, Thelma Hanco*ck of Hawkins, Shirley Mizell of Hallsville and Fay Seahorn of Gilmer; 26 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren. Pennington was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Pennington. She is survived by one son, Don Pennington of Gilmer; a granddaughter and grandson-inlaw, Shawyne and Joe Donaho of Gilmer; three great-grandchildren, Justin, Joshua and Lindsey Donaho of Gilmer; one brother, Willie Lindsey of Houston; and a sisterin-law, Jo Lindsey of Perryville. Mr. Harber was a roofing contractor by trade and an honest, hard working and devoted husband and father at home. Mr. Harber is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Cecelia Harber; two sons, Gaylan Daniel Harber and his family of Chalk Hill and Henry Jay Harber of Longview; two daughters, Debra of Chalk Hill and Linda Gay Ramsey and her family of Carthage; four grandchildren, Tommy Elliott, Brian Goings, Gaylan Andrew Massey and Colby Jon Ramsey; and numerous brothers and sisters. Gossett died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at her home. She was born Oct. 20, 1915, to Andrew J. and Sally Cash. For 65 years she was the loving, devoted wife of Henry O.

Gossett Jr. Together, they wrote a son, "Gee, I Like the Likes of You," with Margaret writing the lyrics and Henry, the music. Margaret's surviving family includes two daughters and sonsin-law, Sally Gossett Barron and Archie N. Barron of Longview and Henrietta Gossett Covey and Richard Covey of Bailey, her two grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Francois and her husband, Christopher Michael Francois, and Lisa Michelle Covey brought special joy to her life. Margaret also has one great-grandson, Collin Michael Francois, who greatly blessed her last years of life.

She is also survived by three nieces, Adele Denson Beers, Dorothy Anne Hyde and Linda Kennedy Rosser. She has three nephews, Gary Denson, Lee Kennedy and Avis Johnson. Margaret had lived in Longview since 1935. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church until she became ill in 1991. She taught Sunday school many years, both to teen-agers and married young adults.

She was a charter member of the Bethany Bible Club and an organizer and teacher of the Heritage Bible Club. She was active in the Longview community as a founding member of the Longview Lawyers' Wives Club and the Longview Women's Forum. She was installed as the only honorary member of the Longview Rotary Club. Friends and family remember her as a gourmet cook. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Miriam Cash Crawford; and another sister, Mary Frances "Jackie" Denson.

The family will receive friends p.m. today, July 11, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to LeTourneau University, Gregg County Historical Museum, Longview ISD Foundation or the First Baptist Church.
