RE: GAME 7 STANLEY CUP FINALS!! | |
Luongo will probably get all the heat for this series loss, but I would be kicking swedish butt. They were invisible. When the going gets tough, they get lost |

Where where the Sedines for most of the playoffs? Kesler kicked ass in the Nashville series but was never seen again...To many games...to much work and they couldnt handle the workload. Was never ment to be i guess...Cloutier must be smiling -- Edited by Paulish on Wednesday 15th of June 2011 10:03:52 PM

If there was any plus out of this, it was good to see Thomas Kaberle win the cup after playing so many years with the leafs and nothing to show for it. |

I thought the fans in Roger's Arena showed a lot of class at the game's end. They sure gave Tim Thomas a well deserved ovation and Milan Lucic a home town boy as well. I got a good laugh out of the way they welcomed Bettman. Alain Vigneault also showed a lot of class in his post game interview, I found it odd that the coach came out to speak, usually a veteran player or Captain, but he gave a good interview with no excuses. I do think however that he was outcoached by Claude Julian. As far as the riot goes I think that would happen in just about any city that lost, there is always a certain element in society that relishes the opportunity to create lawlessness and defy authority. To me it does not change my opinion of Vancouver as a beautiful and good city, we were all so proud during the Olympics and that hasn't changed for me. I do feel sad for Vancouver fans though, it was tough to see the team play so poorly after such great promise all season. At the end of day it is Canada's game and it takes real Canucks to play it, unfortunately the Canucks didn't have enough on the team. lueger68 wrote: Now that's funny! My wife is the Nuk fan and I feel bad for her. As far as I am concerned unless the junk the Sedins and Lou it will never happen. The Sedins are not crash em bash them players and the refs changed the rules in the play offs. If the called it tight it would have turned out better for the Nuks. They should ref the same the whole season. Lou should go no matter what he sucks. Hey I have a joke for you. What time is it in Boston? 20 past Lou!! Ha Ha Ha!! |

The True Vancouver fans showed some class.....Now its time for the Idiots of Vancouver to take to the streets....... Way to show the Pride for your team. They lost to the better team, tonight, but if you think about it, they started out the season just like all the other teams, zero points, and they came out on top (to go 7 games in the final) There are a bunch of cities out there that can only wish their teams got that far! Congrats to the Bruins on a season well played, and congrats to the Canucks, who made it as far as they did!!!! Very entertaining games!!!! 1960 Pontiac Strato Chief Safari Calgary, Alberta, but raised in Peterborough |

Must congradulate the Tim Thomas team, as he held them in the series. The Canucks had an awsum run this year and should not be dissapointed at all. I do believe I had heard it somewhere that the winner of the league had not won Stanley in that year through all stanleys years. 64 Lemans, 4spd Vancouver Island B.C. |

Your a classy Canuck fan ! Too bad for you guys but the better team won. Any team though making the Stanley Cup finals is a great team .I liked Andrew Ference's interview, losing that game 7 with Calgary was the toughest thing ever, haunts him to this day, wishes he could of won this with his Calgary group too. |

He played like a Canadian and had a little talent too. I played on a team here in Kelowna for a little over 20 years and with the same 2 linemates for 14 years and the joke was I was the other Forsberg. The best team won and my congrats to them. They always looked like they were having a whole lot more fun playing than the Canucks. I just love the way Tim Thomas interacts with his players, I can see why they are all around him blocking everything to make it happen. You wonder how many guys that were playing last night will even get a sniff at a final again. Jerel |
