Selected paintings by June Harwood show the transition in her work from the 1960's through the present.

Early Hard-Edge paintings reflect her formal training at Syracuse University; the colorforms ultimately splinter, divide and then suggest natural forms such as aerial views, ripples in the water, and fleeting impressions of rural geography.

The most recent paintings reveal a departure from referential forms and a return to non-objective painting.
